The Maxmillian Bespoke Process.

Process is something that is very important to Maxmillian and its founder Samson. We believe that the best products in any industry especially the clothing industry, always come from an efficient, beautiful and well thought out procedure. So, we created a new innovative one, combining two things that we think will change the way that you look at your wardrobe and the way you feel about clothes as a whole.

We combined Bespoke Tailoring & Creative Fashion Development.

…What does that mean exactly? Well, lets first explain a bit about each process separately, and then how they can come together to create Maxmillian Bespoke.

Bespoke Tailoring

Bespoke Tailoring is the highest level of quality one can get when it comes to custom tailored garments. Every single part of the process is done from scratch and each step is made with the customer in mind. All around the world, traditional bespoke tailors tend to offer hand crafted formal items to their clientele, consisting of the classic suit styles paired with button up shirts and trousers in their specific house cuts. Though the range is narrow and specific to the house, when it comes to creating the fit and construction, if done properly, is done with the highest level of precision and craftsmanship by highly skilled tailors.

Creative Fashion Development

Creative Fashion Development on the other hand is something different all together. Fashion brands and designers from around the world develop their fashion collections each season by working closely with a pattern cutter ( garment engineer ), who develops their creations through a series of prototyping, eventually leading to manufacturing in a larger factory setting. Creative fashion development tends to be more free, and experimental resulting in a broader range of garment designs and styles. Though creative fashion development results in a larger range of designs, when it comes to fit and construction, the quality is varied and unparalleled when compared to bespoke tailoring. This is because its made for the masses in a factory and not for a specific individual by highly trained tailors.

The Combination

So, we are talking about two completely different parts of the industry! One being a luxury service available to the public, and the other being product development offered only to fashion brands or designers. Yet, when you combine these two things in the perfect way, taking the best aspects of each, the result is a streamlined bespoke process with much more precision and creativity. This new process enables the customer to now start thinking outside of the box — far beyond the standard suit and tie ensembles most feel confined to when talking to their tailors. Imagine if you could have a wardrobe consisting of all your favorite kinds of clothes. We mean all of them. Fabrics from the best mills in the world, and a design archive full of all your favorite classics and more. You become the fashion brand, the designer, and the customer, meaning — that you get to have your cake and eat it too.
